On thursday my old friend Chris came downtown with his 2 year old daughter and we went down to Kits pool to take my daughter swimming for the first time. A bit of shock on the first entry but after some splashing around we went back in and she liked it a bit more. The pool may have been a bit cool. Beautiful day in Kits ... walked Chris along bikini row on the way to the pool - he couldn't understand why we would ever move. :-) After everybody dried off we headed down to the swingsets and the playground and hung out with the kids. Chris spent 45 minutes putting a kite together for his daughter....talk about obscure instructions. Nice to hang out with someone you've known for 25 years.
